It started as a dream by a young, hard-working individual named Rich Mussetter. The year was 1976. Rich and his wife, Kim, sold everything they had to start "Mussetter Distributing" as a 2-person operation in Auburn, CA. Rich had always wanted to run his own business, although he will be the first one to tell you that it required more time, work, and dedication than he had ever imagined! Nevertheless, through entrepreneuship, excellent customer service and great employees, Mussetter Distributing came to be a top distributor for Miller, Corona, Heineken and other brands they had represented over the years. Fast forward to 2010...the industry has changed...a move towards 'mega-distributors" selling millions of cases is all the focus of the big beer suppliers. It was time to make a change, a change that will require much rebuilding, but lead Mussetter Distributing into the next 30+ years of providing their customers with memorable service, personality, and great profitable products that will add value to each and every business. The next generation is here, led by son Jason Mussetter, who values the same principles as his father. Jason has that same dream for Mussetter Distributing, as he has much incentive to make this successful...to run a successful business and provide the oppurtunity for his 2 boys to continue on in the family business just as he has.
